The literary worlds of Norway and Slovakia have recently acquired a new channel for intensive contact. This edition of the Slovak radio programme Ars litera focuses on contemporary Norwegian literature and this ongoing Slovak-Norwegian literary exchange. Poet Michal Tallo welcomes Eva Lavríková, translator from Norwegian, who has translated more than two dozen titles for children and adults into Slovak and who follows closely contemporary Norwegian literature. In 2022 and 2023, translator Eva Lavríková and writer Michal Tallo were both residents at Tou in Stavanger, Norway, as part of the Epic Residencies programme.
